Job Description
Tiger Private is seeking a warm, experienced, and proactive Nanny to join a private household supporting a high-net-worth family based in Notting Hill, London. The role will involve the care and development of two children: a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.
Both children currently attend a local Montessori nursery, and the family follow a child-led, Montessori-inspired approach, with a strong emphasis on independence, creativity, and structured freedom within a nurturing environment. This is a Monday to Friday position, typically 8:00am to 7:00pm, with occasional flexibility, and one evening babysitting. The family are seeking someone who can integrate seamlessly into the household, supporting the children’s daily routines, development, and emotional wellbeing while maintaining a calm, engaging, and structured environment.
Key responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate developmental activities, encouraging learning through play, supporting early years milestones, and providing a consistent and nurturing presence. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, and confident in adapting activities to suit both children’s individual needs and personalities, while fostering their love of the outdoors.
The family travel to Switzerland for approximately 2-3 months of the year and also spend time at their Cotswolds residence during weekends and school holidays. The ideal candidate should therefore be flexible and open to travelling with the family when required, however the family can make arrangements for a temporary person to fill in if needed for extended travel periods abroad. The household is staffed, including a housekeeper and a lunchtime chef. While cooking is not the primary focus of the role, the Nanny will be expected to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children daily.
